Construction Estimator and Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage mid-rise construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and cost control. This role requires effective communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.

Duties

• Manage all phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets while coordinating resources effectively.
• Oversee the bidding process and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Utilize construction estimating software such as Quick Bid for accurate cost assessments.
• Implement cost control measures to monitor expenses and ensure financial accountability.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of project progress, changes, and communications.

• Proficiency in Onscreen Take off for project estimation.
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with contractors and vendors.
• Expertise in construction estimating processes to accurately forecast project costs.
• In-depth knowledge of construction practices and principles.

• Familiarity with pricing strategies within the construction industry.
• Proven track record of managing construction sites efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project management tasks.
• Ability to interpret contracts and ensure compliance throughout the project duration.
