Hamed Homes is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help support the construction of custom luxury homes throughout Northeast Indiana.

Working alongside our Project Managers, this role is focused on maintaining clean and organized jobsites, documenting daily progress, assisting with quality control, and supporting the successful execution of every project. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying active, solving problems, and learning the custom home building process firsthand.

Position Overview

The Assistant Project Manager provides day to day field support to our Project Management team. By visiting jobsites, documenting construction progress, maintaining organization, and assisting with project execution, this role helps ensure every home reflects the quality standards of Hamed Homes.

Primary ResponsibilitiesField Support

• Visit active jobsites throughout the day to monitor progress and overall site conditions
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites that reflect company standards
• Assist Project Managers with field related tasks and day to day project needs
• Support final punch list completion and project closeout activities

Project Documentation

• Complete detailed daily logs documenting construction progress
• Capture jobsite photos and maintain accurate project records
• Report observations, concerns, and project updates to the Project Manager
• Help maintain organized documentation for each active project

Quality Control

• Observe workmanship and identify items that require additional attention
• Verify installed work generally matches plans and project expectations
• Help maintain a high level of quality throughout every phase of construction
• Assist in preparing homes for client walkthroughs and milestone inspections

Team Support

• Work closely with Project Managers to keep projects organized and moving forward
• Assist with miscellaneous field tasks as priorities change throughout the day
• Contribute to a positive, team oriented culture built around accountability and professionalism

Qualifications

• Residential construction experience preferred
• Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working outdoors in active construction environments
• Strong written communication skills for daily reporting
• Ability to prioritize tasks and remain organized across multiple jobsites
• Basic understanding of residential construction is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation required
