AI/LLM Contractor — Career Transition Track (Contract-to-Hire)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Data & AI Contractor passionate about LLMs, NLP, and applied AI to join our team and help build AI-powered products and longitudinal healthcare data solutions.

You’ll work closely with the Client Solutions, Data, Engineering, and Product teams to help design and develop best-in-class AI-driven data products while leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to improve productivity, automation, insight generation, and workflows across the company.

This is a hands-on, part-time contract role where you’ll contribute directly to real projects and collaborate across technical and business teams to turn complex healthcare and data challenges into scalable solutions. This is a contract-to-hire track — we’re looking for someone we can bring on full-time if it’s a strong mutual fit.

Who This Role Is For

This role is designed for people with roughly 1–3 years of experience in another technical discipline — data analytics, data engineering, software engineering, or similar — who are looking to pivot into AI/LLM work. You don’t need a traditional AI/ML resume; you need strong technical fundamentals, curiosity about applied AI, and the drive to build that experience on real projects.

AI Products & Data Solutions

• Build and experiment with NLP- and LLM-based applications
• Develop solutions involving semantic search, embeddings, summarization, RAG pipelines, AI agents, and prompt engineering
• Work on AI-powered products and longitudinal healthcare data solutions
• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to generate insights and improve product performance
• Leverage cutting-edge AI tools to improve workflows, research, automation, and productivity
• Collaborate closely with Client Solutions, Engineering, Product, and Commercial teams to prototype and iterate quickly

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication

• Translate business and research questions into scalable technical solutions
