There will also be production sample fittings with the Design team and the Tech team. We would also need you to fit in buyer meetings when needed. In addition, when there is nothing to fit, this role will support the day-to-day operations of the Designers, working directly with her. Responsibilities will include tracking/approving payroll and PTO requests, maintaining internal records and access systems, ordering and organizing office supplies, supporting data organization related to our PLM system integration, and helping manage incoming requests from across the office. This role will also help keep the workspace organized, coordinate with the building and office management on day-to-day needs, and act as an extra set of hands for the Design team to ensure the office runs smoothly as priorities shift throughout the day.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in entering the fashion industry, even without prior experience. The right candidate is proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable jumping in wherever needed.

  • Help maintain and organize office operational systems
  • Managing and updating visitor access and elevator/building entry systems
  • Maintaining internal records related to access, schedules, and approvals
  • Act as a first point of contact and filter for incoming requests from the office, helping triage questions, issues, and needs that would typically come to the Design team
  • Support data organization and cleanup related to the integration of a PLM system, including sorting, updating, and validating information
  • Order and manage office supplies and ensure the office is stocked and functioning smoothly
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining office spaces, including addressing clutter, fabric overflow, and general organization needs
  • Help Design team coordinate with the building, office manager, IT, or external vendors to help resolve day-to-day office issues (facilities, access, equipment, etc.)
  • Provide hands-on support with day-to-day operational needs across the design team, stepping in wherever help is needed as priorities shift
