Looking for an engineer who designs, implements, and manages secure, scalable, and optimized cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, ensuring high availability and alignment with business objectives. (H eavy infrastructure, OS management skills)

Core Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure services. Key duties include:

• Infrastructure Management Deploying and managing Azure Virtual Machines, storage solutions, and networking components such as Azure Virtual Network and Load Balancer.
• Security and Compliance Implementing security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and adherence to compliance standards.
• Performance Monitoring Monitoring system health, capacity, and performance to optimize cost and ensure high availability.
• Collaboration Working closely with developers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to integrate applications and align cloud strategies with organizational goals.
• Automation and DevOps Using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate deployments and manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Cloud Strategy and Innovation Evaluating and implementing new Azure technologies, supporting cloud adoption, and driving enterprise-wide cloud initiatives.

Required Skills and Knowledge

To excel in this role, an Azure Infrastructure Engineer should have:

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Compute, storage, networking, security, disaster recovery, and governance.
• Programming and Scripting Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Bash, or C# for automation and infrastructure management.
• Networking Fundamentals Understanding DNS, IP addressing, VPNs, firewalls, and network protocols.
• DevOps Practices Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated infrastructure provisioning.
• Problem-Solving and Collaboration Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, optimize performance, and work effectively in cross-functional teams.
