Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an Azure / M365 Developer on behalf of our client in Hanover, NJ. This role is ideal for a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations, automation solutions, and AI-powered business applications while ensuring scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
• Build and support serverless solutions using Azure Functions to automate business processes and workflows.
• Develop, publish, and secure RESTful APIs using Azure API Management (APIM).
• Implement event-driven architectures utilizing Azure Event Hubs and related integration services.
• Develop backend applications and services using .NET (C#), ASP.NET Core, and/or Node.js.
• Design and optimize data solutions using Azure SQL Database and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Create and maintain intelligent virtual agents and conversational AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Develop workflow automation and business process solutions using Power Automate.
• Build and maintain Custom Connectors with OAuth 2.0 authentication for Power Platform integrations.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), OAuth 2.0, and API security best practices.
• Monitor application performance, availability, and telemetry using Azure Application Insights and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, technical design discussions, and production support.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, API specifications, and deployment guides.
• Lead technical discussions, architecture reviews, and cross-functional initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including:
• Azure Functions
• Azure API Management (APIM)
• Azure Event Hubs
• Azure SQL Database
• Azure Cosmos DB
• Azure Application Insights
• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Core, and/or Node.js.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate and Custom Connectors.
• Experience developing solutions with Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, API security, and identity management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep, ARM Templates, or Terraform.
• Microsoft Azure, Power Platform, or related certifications.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud transformation and automation initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead architecture reviews, technical discussions, and cross-functional projects.
