Job Description
- Create compelling product descriptions highlighting features, origin, and uniqueness of GI-tagged products.
- Develop content for website, marketplace listings, and catalogues.
- Write blogs, articles, and storytelling content around artisans, crafts, and cultural heritage.
- Ensure all content is SEO-optimized to improve search visibility and traffic.
- Collaborate with sourcing and design teams for accurate product representation.
- Maintain consistency in brand tone, voice, and messaging across all platforms.
- Edit and proofread content for accuracy, clarity, and quality standards.
- Support marketing campaigns with creative copy for banners, emails, and social media.
- Conduct research on Indian crafts, GI products, and regional heritage to enrich content.
- Update and optimize existing content based on performance metrics.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field.
EXPERIENCE
25 years in content writing, copywriting, or e-commerce content creation. Handicrafts/cultural content background is a plus.
Skills Required
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong understanding of SEO and keyword optimization.
- Ability to create engaging storytelling content.
