Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AWS IoT Engineer with strong expertise in AWS IoT services, data engineering, and serverless application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cloud-native IoT solutions on AWS. This role involves working with real-time data processing, IoT device connectivity, and modern serverless architectures to build high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable IoT solutions using AWS cloud services.
• Build secure and serverless applications using AWS Lambda and Amazon API Gateway.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for IoT applications and backend services.
• Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using AWS services.
• Develop real-time data streaming and processing pipelines for IoT workloads.
• Configure and manage AWS IoT Core, device connectivity, and provisioning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver cloud-native solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security following AWS best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture design.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8-12 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in AWS.

• Strong experience with AWS IoT Core, including:

• MQTT Protocol
• IoT Policies
• Thing Registry

• Fleet Provisioning / Just-in-Time Provisioning (JITP)

• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Hands-on experience with:

• AWS Lambda
• Amazon API Gateway
• Amazon S3
• Amazon DynamoDB

• Amazon Timestream

• Experience in REST API design and development.
• Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture and cloud-native application development.
