Job Description
About Us
We are an AI data annotation and labeling company building the infrastructure behind next-generation artificial intelligence models. Our platform connects a global network of skilled contributors, subject matter experts, and writers with state-of-the-art AI training initiatives—ranging from Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) to model evaluation and red-teaming.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented AI Language Model Trainer based in the US (Remote) to help evaluate, refine, and improve the capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs). In this role, you will craft complex prompts, grade AI-generated responses, provide alternative high-quality reference answers, and teach language models how to communicate with greater accuracy, tone, and logical consistency.
If you have a passion for language, sharp critical thinking skills, and an interest in guiding the future of generative AI, this is a unique opportunity to directly influence how AI systems think and write.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Response Evaluation: Analyze and rank multiple AI-generated responses based on accuracy, reasoning, grammar, tone, safety, and helpfulness.
- Prompt Crafting: Develop creative, complex, and realistic prompts across various topics to stress-test the model’s understanding and boundary capabilities.
- Reference Answer Creation: Write original, nuanced, high-quality reference answers (gold-standard text) to teach models proper response structure and reasoning.
- RLHF & Data Annotation: Conduct Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF) tasks, flagging factual inaccuracies, subtle logical flaws, or biased content.
- Feedback & Error Documentation: Provide clear, structured feedback explaining why one response is superior to another, helping machine learning engineers isolate model failure patterns.
Qualifications
- Communication & Writing: Exceptional command of written English with a sharp eye for grammar, style, nuance, and logical clarity.
- Critical Thinking: Ability to spot subtle factual errors, hallucinations, or weak logic in complex written passages.
- Adaptability: Quick to learn detailed rubrics, project-specific guidelines, and changing platform workflows.
- Research Skills: Ability to quickly fact-check claims against reliable sources to verify the truthfulness of AI outputs.
- Location: Must be based in the United States and equipped with a stable internet connection for remote platform work.
Nice-to-Haves
- A background in Creative Writing, Journalism, Linguistics, Philosophy, English Literature, or Communications.
- Prior experience with AI training platforms, RLHF projects, data annotation, or prompt engineering.
- Fluency in additional languages or domain expertise in specific subjects (e.g., legal, medical, STEM, or creative media).
