Job Description

Title – Application Developer – Front End

Location: London, UK - Remote

Buy Rate – GBP- 300 per day (Inside IR35)

MUST BE A UK Citizen with a minimum of 5 years residency.

Required skills:

  • Extensive accessible front-end development experience (WCAG compliance).
  • Strong experience with NHS Front End Toolkit.
  • Proven experience working with GDS in UK public sector. Server Side Rendered front-end development.
  • Django application development. Working in multi-disciplinary, user-centred design teams. Agile delivery environments with start-up mentality.
  • TDD, BDD, pair/mob programming, CI/CD, IaC
  • Facilitating technical decisions and building team consensus. End-to-end ownership and proactive problem-solving. Delivering safe and secure solutions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with ambiguity. Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Nice to have skills: Experience with AI-augmented Front-End delivery.
  • Previous NHS experience. GOV.UK Design System experience. Python development. API integration experience.
  • Cloud migration projects. Extracting and modernising legacy systems. Cross-organisation collaboration. Mentoring and coaching developers.
