Role Description The Investor and Advisor for Crafter’s enterprise AI startup will play a key role in guiding the company’s strategic direction and growth. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising the founding team on business strategy, funding plans, and go-to-market initiatives, while providing insight into scaling enterprise SaaS products for the entertainment industry. The role involves evaluating investment opportunities, participating in board-level discussions, and helping shape product and technology roadmaps in line with market trends. The Investor and Advisor will also leverage industry networks to open partnership and customer acquisition opportunities, mentor leadership on operational excellence, and support long-term value creation.

Qualifications

• Strong background in investing, corporate finance, or venture capital, with experience in technology or SaaS startups.
• Expertise in business strategy, growth planning, and scaling early-stage companies, ideally in enterprise software or AI.
• Understanding of product management, collaboration platforms, or productivity tools, with the ability to advise on roadmap and prioritization.
• Familiarity with the entertainment or media industry, including production workflows and business processes, is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships, leverage professional networks, and support business development initiatives.
• Strong analytical, communication, and advisory skills, with the capacity to challenge assumptions constructively and provide pragmatic guidance.
• Previous experience serving as a board member, advisor, or mentor to startup leadership teams is preferred.
• Relevant academic background in business, finance, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or similar) is an advantage but not required.
