Job Description
We’re looking for a motivated Front-End Developer to join a Media Technology and Operations team at a leading global media & entertainment company, supporting the software that powers content workflows across live sports, news, and entertainment brands. This is a fully remote opportunity (anywhere in the US) with a collaborative team focused on automating workflows and building easy-to-use toolsets for media operations.
Location: Remote — United States
Contract Length: 1 year, with possibility of extension/conversion
Start Date: August 7, 2026
Compensation: Up to $81.86/hour
Benefits: Includes medical/dental/vision, 401k, and more
Schedule: Standard business hours, OT not expected
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain applications across multiple frameworks, working in Jira and Git
- Build from user stories and actively participate in technical design
- Build efficient, scalable, secure, and observable applications
- Give and receive feedback in team meetings and code reviews
- Build functional, efficient pages for internal operational teams
- Proactively identify and address technical issues
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years building front-end applications for workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Temporal), including workflow visualization, status tracking, and operational dashboards
- 5+ years of experience with web development best practices and standards
- 5+ years of solid experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js in conjunction with React.js, plus a strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JS, and responsive UI design
