PR and Communications Coordinator

Overview of the Role

Our global entertainment client is seeking a PR and Communications Coordinator to support publicity, media relations, and communications initiatives for a leading entertainment and streaming brand. This role will help execute press campaigns, manage media outreach, track coverage, and oversee day-to-day content publishing across PR channels.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized project coordinator, and passionate entertainment enthusiast who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys supporting high-visibility campaigns.

The Basics

• Duration: 12-month contract
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Location: Hybrid, Culver City, CA
• Onsite Requirements: 3 days onsite per week

Top 3 Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or related fields
• Strong writing experience, including press releases, media materials, and communications content
• Experience supporting media outreach, publicity campaigns, or entertainment marketing initiatives

Other Qualifications

• Experience managing social media content and publishing calendars
• Familiarity with media monitoring and coverage reporting
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Entertainment, streaming, or media industry experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related field preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Draft press releases, media pitches, event invitations, and other communications materials
• Support publicity campaigns, media outreach, launches, events, and marketing activations
• Build and maintain media lists, campaign trackers, and coverage reports
• Manage PR social media content calendars, copywriting, scheduling, and publishing
• Monitor media coverage, industry news, and competitive activity
• Prepare daily coverage summaries and campaign recap reports
• Coordinate with Marketing, Media Relations, Awards, Events, and other internal teams
• Support execution of communications initiatives that drive brand awareness and audience engagement

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
