Web Developer

Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Website Developer to support the development and enhancement of our international conference and industry directory platforms.

This is not a basic WordPress role, we are looking for someone who understands conversion, performance, and modern user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage high-performance WordPress websites
• Build conversion-focused landing pages for global events
• Implement interactive features (maps, directories, filters, dashboards)
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and responsive web design standards
• Experience in using web development frameworks and tools
• Optimize website speed, responsiveness, and overall performance
• Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to execute campaigns

Requirements:

• Strong experience in WordPress (custom builds preferred)
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with API integrations and interactive elements
• Solid understanding of responsive design and performance optimization
• Ability to move at pace and deliver high-quality outputs within aggressive timelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Experience working on event platforms or B2B directories
• Exposure to advanced UI/UX or animations (GSAP, etc.)
