Lead Ruby on Rails Engineer

Permanent position - £115k + 12% bonus + up to 21% pension

Industry: Financial Services - Life & Investments

Remote working, with occasional visits to the office (once every 2 months)

Our client are a global financial in the Life & Investments industry.

Do you have expert level Rails experience?

Have you previously built a mortgage or loan systems in Ruby on Rails? If so, read on….

Our client has chosen Rails for its rapid development capabilities and strong ecosystem for financial calculations. We are recruiting 3 positions, 1 Lead Engineer and 2 mid-level.

What experience is needed?

• 5+ years Ruby on Rails experience
• Financial services experience
• Experience working with React or other JavaScript frameworks
• Web-based MVC applications and APIs
• DevOps best practice - CI?CD pipelines
• Mentoring / leading junior-mid level Engineers
• Excellent comm’s

What’s the process?

This is an immediate start. It will be a two stage Teams interview.

Our client want to move quickly with this as they have 3 Engineers to hire into the team.
