AI Sales & Marketing Enablement Specialist (Intern)

Position Summary

Hoot is a physician-led patient education platform. We help doctors extend their voice beyond the exam room by delivering short and personal videos to patients through text and email at the key moments in their care journey, so patients better understand their condition, follow through on treatment, and stay engaged after they leave the office.

We are seeking a curious, hardworking student to help us use AI to design, develop, and launch the sales and marketing strategies that grow Hoot into new markets. Because we are a small, fast-moving team, this role also carries a set of operational responsibilities that keep the business running. It is a hands-on opportunity to see how a company grows from the inside and to build skills that are in high demand.

ResponsibilitiesSales

• Use AI tools to research new markets, specialties, and target companies for Hoot to enter
• Build, clean, and maintain prospect lists and account data in Excel and our CRM (HubSpot)
• Draft and refine personalized outreach emails and sequences
• Help design, launch, and track multi-step outreach campaigns, and report on what worked
• Support the team in preparing sales materials, two-pagers, and follow-up assets

Marketing

• Draft landing page copy, LinkedIn content, email campaigns, and other marketing assets alongside the team
• Research target audiences and messaging angles for new markets
• Help build templates, content workflows, and internal tools that make the marketing team faster
• Track campaign performance and surface insights on what is resonating

Operations

• Monitor customer support channels, flag issues, and help ensure timely responses
• Keep internal data, files, and records organized and accessible
• Build simple internal tools and workflows that improve how the team operates

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled college student, ideally in 2nd or 3rd year
• Strong prompting skills, with the ability to get real, usable work out of AI tools
• Solid Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and cleaning messy data
• A working understanding of sales and marketing strategy and fundamentals
• Strong work ethic and reliable follow-through
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently
• Located near Millstone Township, NJ, or able to commute to the office 1-2 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

We are willing to teach the right candidate any of the following:

• Experience with CRM tools such as HubSpot
• Experience with data enrichment or prospecting tools
• Basic HTML, design sense, or comfort with content creation tools
• Interest in healthcare, pharma, or the patient experience

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
