Full Stack Java Lead

Avanciers Incorporated is hiring a Full Stack Java Lead for one of our clients.

Job Title: Full Stack Java Lead

Job Location: Toronto, ON (3 days onsite in a week)

Employment Type: Full-time/Contract

Duration: 6-12 Months Contract

Compensation Range: $110,000 - $125,000 per year or $50- $60 per hour

Job description:

• Technical Leadership & Delivery: 8+ years in IT with 3–5+ years as a Technical Lead, driving enterprise-scale delivery, mentoring teams, and enforcing engineering best practices.
• Backend & Cloud Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Java 21, Spring Boot microservices, API design (REST, event-driven), messaging (Kafka/RabbitMQ), and cloud-native development on GCP (or equivalent).
• DevOps & Engineering Excellence: Proficient in Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, CI/CD automation, containerization, PostgreSQL (or similar RDBMS), and quality practices like code reviews, unit testing, and automation-first mindset.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure
