Full-Stack Developer

Work Mode:

• Remote work (telework), with occasional on-site presence in Ottawa.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop features and fix bugs using TypeScript, with a focus on Node.js (backend) and Vue.js (frontend)
• Use Docker for containerization and deployment of applications
• Use Git for source control and team collaboration
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Collaborate with the Product Owner to translate user stories into technical tasks
• Maintain and scale applications to support additional RCAF stakeholders

You have the following profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in full-stack development using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, and HTML/CSS, within the past 5 years
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with relational/SQL databases, including data modeling and schema design, within the past 5 years
• Minimum 3 years of experience using Docker, Git version control, and CI/CD tooling (GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or equivalent), within the past 5 years
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing cloud-based full-stack web applications as part of an Agile or Scrum team, within the past 5 years
• Track record of delivering full-stack features and enhancements in modern web and application environments
• Experience sustaining, enhancing, or scaling existing production applications
• Experience delivering software using DevSecOps practices such as containerization, source control, CI/CD pipelines, or automated testing
