Programmer/Software Developer

Location: Remote (Ontario, Quebec)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based full stack applications.
• Build features and fix defects using TypeScript, Node.js and Vue.js.
• Containerize and deploy applications using Docker.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on operational needs.
• Support onboarding of new team members and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to translate user stories into technical tasks.
• Use Git for source control, collaboration and code reviews.
• Maintain and scale applications to support additional stakeholders.
• Contribute to digital initiatives that improve communication and workflow automation.

What You Bring To The Table

• Minimum 3 years of experience within the past 5 years in the following:

• Full-stack development using TypeScript, JavaScript, NodeJS, ExpressJS and HTML/CSS.
• Designing and developing relational SQL data models and schemas.
• Using Docker Git version control and CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• Developing cloud-based full-stack web applications.

• Working as part of an Agile and/or Scrum team.

• Within the past 5 years you have:

• Delivered software using DevSecOps-aligned practices including containerization, source control, CI/CD pipelines or automated testing in a cloud environment across at least 10 products.
• Contributed to the sustainment, enhancement or scaling of at least 10 production applications, supporting expanded users, stakeholders or functionality

• Developed or significantly enhanced full-stack functionality as part of a delivery team for at least 10 modern web application products.

• Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
