Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the liaison between the center and the university OTCs.
- Coordinate joint projects for patent identification, protection, and promotion.
- Align OTC activities with national research priorities.
- Build and maintain a centralized patent database that compiles inventions from all partner universities.
- Support patent filing, documentation, and renewal processes.
- Monitor patent readiness levels and categorize by application area.
- Develop networks and partnerships with local and international OTCs.
- Share best practices in technology transfer, marketing strategies, and IP management.
- Facilitate collaborative research-to-market pipelines across universities.
- Maintain digital repositories of patents and research results.
- Track utilization and commercialization status of patents.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of
- University research structures and academic collaboration models.
- Patent law, IP protection, and international conventions.
- Methods of technology assessment, valuation, and readiness evaluation.
- OTC networks.
