Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack web applications utilizing Java, JavaScript frameworks (such as React or Angular), and other programming languages like Python or C# to deliver innovative solutions.
• Design system architecture with scalability and performance in mind, employing design patterns and system design principles for robust system development.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party APIs to ensure seamless data exchange across platforms.
• Collaborate within Agile teams to plan, develop, test, and deploy features using CI/CD pipelines on cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Implement microservices architecture to enhance system modularity, scalability, and maintainability across distributed environments.
• Manage version control using tools like GitHub or SVN while adhering to best practices in software engineering.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring security standards such as RBAC (Role-Based Access Control).
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to uphold high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in system design discussions focusing on database management with SQL (MySQL or similar) and NoSQL solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for APIs, system components, and deployment procedures to facilitate ongoing support and enhancements.

Experience

• Proven software development experience with a strong background in full-stack web development using JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular) and Java-based back-end systems.
• Hands-on experience designing scalable systems employing microservices architecture within cloud environments like AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with RESTful API development, API management, and integration techniques across diverse platforms.
• Solid understanding of software design patterns, system architecture principles, and best practices in scalable application development.
• Experience working within Agile software development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
• Proficiency with version control systems including GitHub or SVN along with CI/CD tools for automated testing and deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL or SQL Server; experience with data modeling and query optimization is a plus.
• Exposure to various programming languages including Python, C#, C++, or C is advantageous for cross-platform development tasks.
• Familiarity with Linux-based environments for deployment and troubleshooting purposes; understanding of cloud infrastructure services like AWS EC2 or Azure VMs is preferred.

Pay: Up to $700,000.00 per year
