Role & responsibilities
Role Overview:
- Network SD WAN is a directly customer funded role who has experience in have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- SDWAN
- Knowledge on any industry SDWAN solution
- Good Knowledge of Routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP
- A good communications skill is a must. Must have a demonstrated ability to relate to customer representatives at various levels.
- Must have good technical writing skills and have experience in writing test and implementation / Migration plans.
- Skills and experience in working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork needed
- SDA
- Experience with product lines like Catalyst 9000/3850/6800. Engineer must be experienced in and have internal product and/or Architecture knowledge.
- Working knowledge and experience on LISP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS, Multicast, vrf-lite, VXLAN, CTS, dot1x, spanning tree
- Knowledge on any industry SDN solution

Desired Skills (Good to have as value add to this role)

- Knowledge of basic network security concepts.
- Knowledge of Cloud solutions like AWS, Azure or GCP
- Cisco SDWAN certification
- SDA
- Hands on experience on DNAC is highly desirable
- Working knowledge and experience on LISP, ISIS, CTS
- Knowledge of basic network security concepts.
- Basic understanding of Python
- Working knowledge of Cisco SDA solution is desirable.
Education &/ Additional Cortications
- Typically requires BSc Computer Science or equivalent plus 5-8 years of relevant work experience. Advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE etc.) would be highly desirable.
