Role Description The Senior Software Engineer for Canada Opportunities role is a full-time, on-site position based in Canada. The individual in this role will design, develop, test, and maintain back-end software systems and web applications that support internal operations and client-facing platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient, and scalable code, reviewing code from other team members, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and optimizing system performance and reliability. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with product, operations, and consulting teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure best practices in security and data handling. The role also involves mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience delivering production-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
• Proficiency in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and applying OOP concepts to complex systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with modern development tools and practices (version control, CI/CD, testing frameworks).
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Prior experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, microservices, and containerization is an advantage.
