A leading global financial and technology organisation is looking for a Java React Fullstack Developer - VP. You will be a key part of a London-based team engineering a cloud-first Private Markets platform using microservice architecture. The role focuses on designing secure, scalable authorisation and permissions management systems while driving the transition toward AI-enabled development.

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver high efficiency, fault tolerant software systems using API-First principles.

• Design and implement secure microservices using a Java backend and React frontend.

• Work with the Engineering Lead to execute the technical strategy and AI transformation.

• Lead the design of permissions management capabilities and central authentication integration.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers to foster a culture of growth.

What we’re looking for

• Extensive professional experience in Java development and building client-facing platforms.

• Proficiency in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and modern JavaScript or React.

• Experience designing and deploying scalable microservices with REST or gRPC.

• Knowledge of integrating AI tooling, LLMs, and vector databases into backend systems.

• Legal authorization to work in the UK and eligibility for required vetting processes.
