Job Description
Yank Technologies, Inc. is a wireless power startup in Brooklyn, New York. We develop long-range, high power wireless charging technology. Safe. Simple. No contact required. With patented antenna and amplifier developments in resonant inductive technology, we provide a scalable solution for variable ranges of power and distances. We have multiple mobility, industrial, and space customers for a range of applications, such as wirelessly charging robotic vehicles and vehicle interior electronics.
The PCB Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing schematics and PCB layouts using industry-standard techniques and DFM best practices to support novel control systems and power converters for wireless power applications. This role includes developing PCB designs for power electronic systems with a focus on EMC/EMI compliance, spanning applications from watts to kilowatts. Success in this position requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, particularly power electronics and mechanical engineering. Reporting to the CTO, this leader will have an early hands-on experience to lead the growth of a startup in the wireless charging ecosystem across a wide range of future products that greatly impact people’s lives.
Competitive compensation includes a base salary, healthcare benefits, and stock options in the company.
