Project Manager – Restoration & Reconstruction

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial restoration and reconstruction projects from initial handoff through final completion.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing multiple restoration and reconstruction projects while ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects following water, fire, mold, storm, and other property losses.
• Lead and oversee all phases of restoration and reconstruction projects, including planning, scheduling, execution, and closeout.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners throughout the restoration process.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, material orders, deliveries, and inspections.
• Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are met.
• Perform regular jobsite visits to monitor quality, progress, and customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters and third-party administrators as needed.
• Review scopes of work, change orders, and estimate supplements.
• Ensure projects meet company gross profit and production goals.
• Document project progress using company software, photos, and daily notes.
• Identify and resolve project issues before they become customer problems.
• Conduct final walkthroughs and obtain customer approval upon completion.
• Maintain clean, organized job files and accurate documentation.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager, Estimator, Production Coordinator, and Office Staff to ensure projects move efficiently from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in restoration, reconstruction, remodeling, or residential/commercial construction field.
• Insurance restoration experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and vendors.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to read construction scopes and plans.
• Experience with Xactimate and Cotality is preferred.
• Experience with Encircle, Xcelerate, or similar restoration software is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Successfully pass a background screening
