Job Description
Company Description Clique83 is an early-stage company focused on tackling modern loneliness by fostering authentic, in-person connections. Instead of using AI to replace human interaction, Clique83 uses it to help real people find each other and meet in real life. Over 10,000 people joined the platform in its first 70 days, reflecting strong early traction and interest. The team is building the “connection economy” and is in a rapid growth and experimentation phase, offering interns the chance to contribute meaningfully to its product and vision.
Role Description As a Full Stack Engineer Intern at Clique83, you will contribute to development, and maintenance of web applications that power the connection platform. Working alongside engineers and product teammates on-site in HCM, you will implement front-end interfaces, build and refine back-end services, and help integrate AI-driven features into the user experience. You will participate in code reviews, write clean and testable code, troubleshoot and debug issues, and assist in optimizing performance across the stack. This is a full-time, on-site role that provides hands-on experience in a fast-moving environment, with opportunities to learn best practices in modern web development while directly supporting the company’s mission of enhancing real-world human connection.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Full-Stack Development and Software Development, with an interest in building end-to-end web applications.
- Competency in Front-End Development, including modern JavaScript frameworks and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), to create responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Basic experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, such as working with APIs, databases, and server-side frameworks.
- Ability to learn quickly, take feedback constructively, and collaborate effectively in a small, mission-driven team.
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and common development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills, with attention to detail and code quality.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Interest in AI-driven products and in building technology that supports real-world human connection.
