PHP & WordPress Developer

• Develop, maintain, and enhance PHP-based web applications and Till/POS systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
• Customize existing WordPress websites according to business requirements.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
• Develop and maintain WooCommerce-based eCommerce websites.
• Optimize website speed, security, and overall performance.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and other developers.
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
• Perform testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of web applications.
• Ensure websites follow SEO best practices and responsive design principles.
• Manage website backups, updates, and security patches.
• Work with version control systems such as Git.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of professional experience as a PHP & WordPress Developer.
• Strong expertise in:

• Laravel Framework
• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript
• jQuery
• MySQL
• Extensive experience with:
• WordPress Theme Development
• Plugin Development & Customization
• Custom Post Types
• Custom Fields (ACF)
• REST APIs
• Experience working with WordPress Page Builders such as:
• Elementor
• WPBakery
• Gutenberg
• Strong experience with WooCommerce and WordPress-based eCommerce solutions.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Till/POS systems or retail software development.
• Knowledge of Linux hosting environments and cPanel.
• Familiarity with Apache/Nginx web servers.
• Experience with AJAX and JSON.
• Understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
• Basic knowledge of React.js or Vue.js is an advantage.
• Experience with cloud hosting platforms is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
