THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a market leader in agentic AI for institutional finance (:40 people, founded 2018) — AI agents that autonomously complete end-to-end workflows across credit analysis, portfolio monitoring, ESG reporting, and compliance, already serving a large share of the world’s top financial institutions. As the first dedicated US commercial hire, you’ll own and expand the US enterprise presence.

What You’ll Do Own the full client lifecycle from prospect identification through close, partnering with the CEO on pricing and strategy. Build relationships with C-suite, heads of innovation, and investment/credit teams at asset managers, PE firms, and banks. Generate outbound pipeline leveraging your financial network. Partner with the CEO and Head of Sales on account strategy, expansion, and multi-year proposals. Be the voice of the US market internally.

What Success Looks Like First 90 days: build a US pipeline leveraging your network and land early conversations. First year: close multi-year enterprise deals and establish the US commercial motion.

MUST-HAVES

5–12 years in institutional finance (investor relations, private credit, asset management, or investment banking); a record managing senior client relationships and large, complex deals; new-business generation; deep understanding of front/middle/back-office workflows.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience as a first commercial hire; selling AI/data platforms into financial institutions.

Compensation & Benefits $150K–$200K base (USD; £110K–£150K in London), $300K–$400K OTE on a 50/50 split with uncapped commission, competitive equity.
