Senior Software Engineer
Toronto, Canada

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing, product-driven startup building scalable and innovative technology solutions. If you enjoy working across the full stack, solving complex problems, and contributing to AI-driven products, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs
- Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications
- Work on AI/ML-driven features and continuously improve algorithms
- Participate in system design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Conduct code reviews and ensure best engineering practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product and design
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
- Support deployment, monitoring, and performance optimization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong experience in:
- Kotlin & Spring Boot
- React.js
- MySQL
- Good understanding of:
- Python
- AWS (cloud services)
- Docker / containerization
- Experience working in agile environments and remote teams
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
