Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Java Software Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Senior Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance Java applications, with a focus on microservices-based architectures and enterprise-grade solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing Spring-based services, integrating with external systems and cloud platforms, and optimizing application performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and security standards, and contribute to architectural decisions. The engineer will also troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, mentor junior team members, and help continuously improve development processes, tooling, and automation.

Qualifications

• Strong Java and general Programming skills, with a focus on building robust, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development for enterprise applications, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Practical expertise with Microservices architectures, including RESTful services, API design, and distributed systems patterns.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework (such as Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Security) for building scalable backend services.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, ORM frameworks, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), testing (unit, integration), and code review processes.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, product-focused environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
