Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior AWS DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, cloud security, observability, and platform engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, automating, and operating scalable, secure, and highly available cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and manage cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes (EKS).
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and observability using CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, or ELK.
• Ensure cloud security, governance, compliance, and cost optimization.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root cause analysis and remediation.
• Automate operational processes using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, EKS, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, Route53, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, and CloudWatch.
• Expertise in Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git-based workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, security, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems, and high-availability architectures.
• Knowledge of SLI/SLO/SLA management, reliability engineering, and cloud governance.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect/SysOps).
• Experience with Platform Engineering, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), Istio, Linkerd, or Kafka.
• Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization tools such as Cloudability.
