Job Description
Title: Sr. Java Backend Developer with Kotlin exp
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 3 days a week)
Duration: 6+ months
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Software Development and Programming, with experience building robust backend services.
- Hands-on experience with Java and Kotlin, including designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with the Spring Framework and related libraries for enterprise application development.
- Experience designing and implementing Microservices architectures, including inter-service communication and security.
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, and experience writing efficient queries.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in quality engineering, test automation, or working in AI-driven or highly regulated environments is an asset.
