Job Description
Position: Java Developer with Kotlin
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
Duration: 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Kotlin .
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs using Spring and Spring Boot .
- Develop scalable microservices and optimize backend performance.
- Work with AWS cloud services and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Implement SOA , REST/SOAP web services, and follow TDD best practices.
- Collaborate on large-scale, consumer-facing applications.
- Integrate AI capabilities into existing platforms where applicable.
- Ensure secure application development using OAuth 2.0 and industry best practices.
Required Skills:
- Strong backend development experience with Kotlin .
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot .
- Experience with AWS and Kubernetes .
- Strong knowledge of REST/SOAP web services , Microservices Architecture , and SOA .
- Experience with Git , CI/CD, unit testing, and code quality tools.
- Good understanding of databases, algorithms, and scalable application design.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
