About DYO Design Office DYO Design Office is a boutique NYC-based architecture and interior design firm specializing in commercial, residential, hospitality and cultural design. We also provide design and management services for luxury retail brands.

The Role We’re looking for a driven Business Developer to help grow our pipeline across three areas: luxury retail, commercial/hospitality and residential projects. You’ll identify and pursue new client relationships, build referral networks with contractors and consultants, and help position DYO for larger multi-site and repeat-client opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and reach out to prospective clients across retail, commercial, hospitality, and building restoration sectors
• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, property managers, and industry referral sources
• Represent DYO at industry events (ICSC, AIA New York, Archtober, etc.)
• Track leads and pipeline, working closely with the firm’s principal
• Help develop and execute outreach campaigns to target brands and organizations

What We’re Looking For

• Proven business development or sales experience, ideally in architecture, design, real estate, or construction-related industries
• Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships with brand and real estate decision-makers
• Self-starter comfortable working in-office alongside a small, senior team
• Existing network in retail, commercial real estate, hospitality, or restoration/construction is a strong plus

Compensation structure to be discussed based on experience and pipeline contribution.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $104,902.71 per year
