Business Developer

Amaracon Testing and Inspections provides construction inspection and material testing services to a broad range of New York construction, developer and owner clients. Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, developing client relationships, managing proposal pursuits, and supporting the firm’s marketing and strategic growth initiatives. This position plays a key role in expanding the company’s presence within public and private markets by developing business opportunities, leading proposal efforts, and strengthening relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work on-site at Amaracon Testing & Inspections, LLC

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business development opportunities in the public and private sectors throughout New York
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, municipalities, engineers, developers, and contractors
• Monitor bid opportunities, conduct market research, and support business growth strategies
• Develop marketing materials, support company branding, and assist with communications
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership to support client pursuits, project transitions, and business compliance
• Conduct outreach, attend industry events, and represent the firm at networking functions
