Brief :

We’re recruiting for a an experienced Backend Python Developer to join a high-performing technology team with a leading global financial services organisation.

This is a hybrid role and candidates will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in London.

What you’ll be doin g:

• Building scalable Python backend applications and APIs
• Developing data pipelines and data-intensive systems
• Working closely with engineers, data specialists and business stakeholders
• Driving performance, reliability and security across critical platforms

Candidate requirements :

• 5+ year’s commercial Python development experience
• Strong backend engineering and system design skills
• Experience with PostgreSQL , Redis , MongoDB or similar technologies
• Knowledge of APIs , data processing , CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Financial markets experience ( Rates , Bonds, Swaps , Futures or Trading Systems) highly desirable
• Quantitative/Quants experience highly desirable
