If you’ve spent your career developing software for physical products rather than business applications , we’d like to talk with you.

This is not a typical web development position.

We’re looking for an engineer who enjoys working where embedded software, Linux, networking, cloud services, and back end development come together to create innovative connected products used by professionals around the world.

If your background has primarily focused on SaaS platforms, CRM systems, ERP applications, or internal business software, this position probably isn’t the right fit.

Instead, we’re looking for engineers who enjoy building software for products such as:

• Connected electronic devices

• Consumer electronics

• Audio and communication products

• Industrial equipment

• Medical devices

• IoT platforms

• Networking hardware

• Embedded Linux systems

You’ll work alongside embedded software engineers, hardware engineers, and product development teams to create software that supports real-world products from concept through production.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop software for commercial embedded products throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Build scalable back-end services using TypeScript and Node.js to support connected devices and product functionality.

Design and develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL services used by hardware products and engineering applications.

Collaborate with embedded software, firmware, electrical engineering, and product management teams.

Develop cloud connected solutions utilizing AWS technologies.

Troubleshoot complex issues involving embedded software, Linux systems, networking, and cloud services.

Participate in architecture discussions, product design reviews, and technical planning.

Improve software performance, reliability, scalability, and security across the product ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

Experience developing commercial software products .

Experience working with embedded systems, firmware, or connected electronic devices .

Strong Linux development experience.

Professional experience with TypeScript and Node.js for back-end software development.

Experience building RESTful APIs.

Experience working with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP, MQTT, or WebSockets.

Experience collaborating with embedded software or firmware engineering teams.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills across software and hardware environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with C or C++.

Experience with Embedded Linux.

Experience with AWS services including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.

Experience with Angular and GraphQL.

Experience supporting connected devices or IoT platforms.

Experience taking products from concept through production release.
