Marketing and Social Media Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join a very small but fast growing team. This is a team run by an influencer with over 1M followers across TikTok and Instagram, launching her first brand in the hair loss & hair care space. This role will be an assistant to the founder, working closely with her on this launch as well as on her existing socials. (The new business does not yet have a website or socials. )

The successful candidate will assist in developing engaging content, managing social media accounts, and fostering positive relationships with our audience and partners.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
• Monitor social media platforms for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally.
• Support the development of marketing campaigns and promotional materials aligned with brand objectives.
• Help coordinate public relations activities to enhance the organisation’s reputation and community presence.
• Analyse social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements.
• Maintain an organised content calendar to ensure consistent online presence.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm innovative ideas for campaigns and outreach initiatives.
• Support event promotion through digital channels to maximise visibility and attendance.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in marketing, public relations, and social media management.
• Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and content management tools.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
• Prior experience or coursework related to digital marketing or communications is advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
