Role Overview:

We are looking for an SEO Associate who understands not just traditional SEO, but also Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).

Translation: not someone who just writes blogs and prays to Google, but someone who understands how people search, ask, and get answers across Google, AI tools, and voice/search assistants.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

• Perform keyword research focused on international markets (US, UK, etc.)
• Optimize website pages, blogs, and landing pages
• Work on technical SEO basics (on-page, indexing, meta, internal linking)
• Track rankings, traffic, and performance using tools like GA4, GSC

2. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

• Optimize content for AI-driven platforms (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity)
• Structure content to be picked up in AI-generated responses
• Build entity-based, context-rich content (not just keywords)

3. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)

• Create FAQ-driven and structured content
• Optimize for featured snippets, People Also Ask, voice search
• Focus on intent-based content instead of keyword stuffing

4. Content & Strategy

• Collaborate with content and marketing teams
• Suggest blog topics based on search + AI trends
• Improve existing content for better rankings and visibility

5. Competitor & Market Analysis

• Analyze international competitors
• Identify gaps and opportunities in content + keywords

Required Skills:

• Basic understanding of SEO (on-page + off-page)

• Familiarity with tools like:

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics (GA4)

• Ahrefs / SEMrush / Ubersuggest

• Understanding of search intent and content structuring
• Basic knowledge of GEO & AEO concepts (huge plus if practical exposure)
• Good written English (since target market is international)

Good to Have:

• Experience working on B2B SaaS or IT services websites
• Understanding of AI search behavior
• Experience writing SEO content
• Knowledge of schema markup (FAQ, How-To, etc.)
