Job Description
THE OPPORTUNITY | Strategic PA Recruitment is delighted to be partnering exclusively with a fast-growing, purpose-led biopharma private equity firm as they continue to establish and grow their London executive hub.
Having spent time with three members of the Executive Leadership Team, one thing became immediately apparent… this is a business that genuinely understands the value of an exceptional Executive Assistant.
In fact, that was one of the very first conversations we had.
They want a diary ninja and a trusted partner who can create calm, build strong relationships, think strategically and become an extension of their leadership team. These are exactly the kinds of clients we love working with.
If you’re looking for a role where your judgement, emotional intelligence and ability to anticipate will be recognised and valued, this is one well worth exploring.
THE ROLE | Supporting three senior executives, this is a highly visible Executive Assistant position that sits at the heart of a collaborative London office whilst working closely with colleagues across Europe.
You’ll manage complex diaries, international travel, executive meetings, leadership projects and stakeholder relationships, ensuring the Executive Leadership Team can focus on strategic priorities.
Alongside the executive support, there is a light-touch office management element. Rather than being a combined EA/Office Manager position, you’ll simply take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the London office, helping to create an organised, professional and welcoming environment for colleagues and visitors alike.
You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate regularly with the Paris office, travel to Europe on occasion and build strong relationships across the wider international business.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT | It’s a driven, high performing team. Culture matters, and this is one of the reasons we were so excited to partner with this client. The environment is ambitious, collaborative and refreshingly low ego. People genuinely enjoy working together, support one another and share a common purpose around delivering meaningful impact through investment in life-changing medical innovation.
This is a business where Executive Assistants are viewed as an integral part of leadership success, not simply administrative support.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Acting as a trusted Executive Assistant to three senior executives.
• Managing complex and constantly evolving diaries, international travel and executive logistics.
• Coordinating leadership meetings, board activities, off-sites and executive events.
• Supporting investor relations activity and senior stakeholder engagement.
• Coordinating executive visits between the London and Paris offices.
• Taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the London office, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment.
• Supporting office logistics, suppliers and facilities while helping foster a positive, collaborative culture.
• Building trusted relationships across the UK and Europe whilst becoming a highly visible member of the executive support function.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
• Significant experience supporting senior executives within a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional organisational skills, commercial awareness and emotional intelligence.
• The ability to think ahead, anticipate needs and confidently manage competing priorities.
• Outstanding relationship-building skills with experience working across senior stakeholder groups.
• A proactive, collaborative approach with the confidence to operate as a genuine business partner.
• Exposure to private equity, venture capital, investor relations, biotech, pharmaceutical or healthcare sectors would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Previous experience supporting Board governance or company secretarial activities would also be beneficial.
PACKAGE | Upwards of £50,000 per annum depending on experience, together with private medical insurance, pension, 25 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays and full Strategic PA Network membership, providing ongoing professional development, networking and learning opportunities. This role has been benchmarked as a Global Skills Matrix Level 4 position, reflecting its strate…
