Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Freelance Product Development & Production Coordinator located in our New York office to support daily operations, product organization, and client servicing. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in the fashion production lifecycle, with exposure to trims development, logistics, and client-facing work.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the team in daily tasks including but not limited to

• Track the trim development lifecycle from development to completion
• Closely follow and communicate with clients and global vendors
• Communicate with intercompany global teams via email to support production and logistics
• Organize buttons, trims, and packaging samples
• Curate trim selections (physical and digital) based on client needs and brand aesthetics
• Perform product data entry, filing, and archive organization
• Assist with invoicing, shipment coordination, and preparing light shipments (including local drop-offs in Midtown)

Skills & Requirements

• Must be available 4 days per week, 10 AM – 5 PM, for a minimum of 6 months. This is a freelance position with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
• This is an in-person role in New York City (no hybrid/remote)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Start date: Immediate
• Contract Type: Freelance
• Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Core Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Clear and professional communication skills

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Mac applications
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop preferred

Preferred Background:

• Interest or experience in fashion merchandising, production, or product development
• Strong visual sensibility and understanding of brand aesthetics is a plus
