Job Description
- Design and implement enterprise data governance solutions using Google Cloud Dataplex and Knowledge Catalog (Universal Catalog).
- Configure and manage metadata management frameworks using System Aspects and Custom Aspects.
- Implement Sensitive Data Protection (SDP/Cloud DLP) for data discovery, classification, and dynamic data masking.
- Configure and maintain Data Profiling and Data Quality rules within Dataplex.
- Design and manage Dataplex Lakes and Zones to enable scalable and governed data lake architectures.
- Implement fine-grained security using IAM Roles, Policy Tags, and access control mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Platform teams to integrate governance capabilities into existing data pipelines.
- Define governance standards, metadata models, and best practices for enterprise data assets.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot governance-related issues and optimize data governance processes
