Role: Java Developer (Microservices)
Location: Sydney
Fulltime (Permanent)
Notice: Immediate - 2 Weeks Required
Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using frameworks like Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
- Build and deploy microservices-based architectures ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services using JSON/XML
- Implement service discovery, API gateway, and load balancing (e.g., using Eureka and Zuul)
- Work with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes
- Ensure code quality through unit testing frameworks like JUnit and implement CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security in distributed systems
- Work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL solutions such as MongoDB
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems while following best coding practices and design patterns
