React and Python Developer

Our client is seeking a Full Stack Developer with a strong frontend focus to join their team. This role emphasizes building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces while contributing to backend services that support modern data platform workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend (70%)

• Develop and maintain applications using React and TypeScript
• Build self-service workflows for:
• Application onboarding
• Backup management
• Audit log visualization
• Design and implement data visualization dashboards for Lakehouse metrics
• Optimize frontend performance and enhance overall user experience
• Integrate features into a micro-frontend architecture within the Lumina portal

Backend (30%)

• Develop RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI)
• Design and implement schemas in PostgreSQL
• Integrate with Gravitino metadata server and Iceberg REST Catalog
• Implement secure authentication using OAuth 2.0 with Entra ID
• Build automation workflows for Lakehouse provisioning and management

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong expertise in React and TypeScript
• Experience with Python and FastAPI
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with micro-frontend architecture
• Understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts (Iceberg, Gravitino, S3)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• Familiarity with data visualization libraries (e.g., D3.js, Recharts)

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid role: 3–4 days per week in a downtown office
