Dot net fullstack developer- Lead Software Engineer

Lead the end-to-end design and development of web applications using .NET/C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript. Own system analysis, performance considerations, and modernization of legacy code while ensuring high code quality, testing, and documentation. Act as a hands-on lead who plans work, estimates accurately, mentors junior developers, and collaborates closely with management and clients. Manage web services and IIS hosting/security, respond to defects quickly, and recommend tools and process improvements to keep systems current.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Demonstrated development lead experience in a software company or product team
• Strong proficiency in .NET and C#
• Hands-on experience building ASP.NET web applications (MVC/Core/Web API)
• Solid JavaScript skills for front-end functionality
• Knowledge of web services (REST/SOAP) and web service security
• Working knowledge of IIS for hosting, configuration, and deployments
• Experience analyzing requirements, performing system analysis, and translating specs
• Proven debugging, troubleshooting, and legacy code refactoring experience
• Ability to deliver well-tested, documented, production-quality code
• Strong task breakdown, estimation, and prioritization skills
• Clear verbal and written communication and client-facing skills

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and execute development tasks with minimal supervision
• Collaborate with upper management and stakeholders to align on goals and delivery plans
• Design and develop .NET/C# and ASP.NET-based web applications with performance targets
• Respond promptly to bug reports; diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Review, maintain, and refactor legacy code to improve reliability and performance
• Conduct ongoing system analysis and modernization to align with evolving technologies
• Translate system requirements and specifications into actionable tasks for junior developers
• Supervise, mentor, and guide junior team members and review their work
• Develop new programs/features and implement changes to ensure high-quality outcomes
• Write, edit, debug, and document code according to company standards
• Create tasks from technical specifications, estimate accurately, and manage completion
• Attend client meetings to gather requirements and provide technical consultation
• Research, evaluate, and recommend software tools and process improvements
