Job Description
About the company
ModeFair is an expanding tech venture that excels in GovTech. We provide a holistic suite of services, ranging from strategic counsel and conceptualisation to UI/UX design, custom-made development & integration, and routine IT management.
We aim to retain the best talent in the industry by providing a conducive working environment and market-leading benefits. We respect our employees’ autonomy and prioritise results over micromanagement, promoting a culture of trust and responsibility. We strongly advocate for a healthy work-life balance and place utmost importance on employee well-being. Our focus is on long-term, project-based initiatives aligned with product development lifecycles.
About the job
This role sits within our R&D and innovation function, where we focus on rapid experimentation, prototyping, and turning ideas into real, working products. Our work spans internal tools, new product concepts, and applied AI systems with real‑world impact.
We are looking for a Junior/Fresh Graduate who is excited about building with modern AI tools and experimenting with emerging agentic workflows. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early‑career engineers who enjoy vibe coding and building small projects, prototypes, or experiments using LLMs or automation—even personally.
- Assist in designing and building AI‑powered tools and agent workflows that can plan, reason, and execute tasks.
- Rapidly prototype ideas using modern AI‑assisted development tools and frameworks.
- Build simple agent chains, tools, and automation flows under guidance from senior engineers.
- Integrate LLMs and AI components into internal tools and early‑stage product prototypes.
- Experiment with new AI tools and approaches to improve speed, quality, and developer productivity.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams to turn ideas into working demos and MVPs.
- Learn best practices for turning prototypes into production‑ready systems over time.
Skills & experience required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong programming fundamentals in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Basic experience building applications using React or modern frontend frameworks.
- Exposure to LLMs or modern AI tools through coursework, personal projects, hackathons, internships, or self‑learning.
- Comfortable learning by experimenting, breaking things, and iterating quickly.
- Ability to think in terms of flows, automation, and systems, not just standalone features.
Nice to Have (not a must)
-
Personal or school projects involving:
- AI agents, task automation, or workflow orchestration
- Prompt engineering or tool‑augmented LLMs
-
Exposure to tools or frameworks such as:
- LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen (or similar)
- AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Replit, Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, etc.)
-
Familiarity with rapid prototyping or “vibe coding” workflows.
Culture & benefits
We offer attractive salaries and year-end bonuses, medical insurance for self, outpatient and dental coverage for your spouse and children, optical and flexi benefits, phone claims, parking/transportation claims, a fun and supportive environment, fruit juice and small meals to keep you energised. The company believes in open & honest communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
How to apply
Our team comprises passionate, forward-thinking professionals who thrive on challenges and are dedicated to making a tangible impact.
