Title – Data Engineer - DataStage Engineer
Eligibility – 5 years unbroken residency / Minimum 5 years of continuous UK residency
Location: UK - Remote

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing & maintaining DataStage pipelines, utilising their expertise in data integration & manipulation, to transform data from the source to the IBM MAS target model.
Your Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, & maintain DataStage pipelines to support the MOD project.
Apply your knowledge of MOSAIC or IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies to ensure efficient data migration processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements & deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Utilise key technologies such as DataStage, XML, XSLT, & Jira for effective project management & issue tracking.

Required skills:

Proven experience in DataStage Designer.

Familiarity with MOSAIC, IBM 10-step Data Migration Methodologies or equivalent data migration methodologies.

Strong proficiency in XML & XSLT for data transformation tasks.

Proficient use of Jira for project management & issue tracking.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

A proactive approach to problem-solving & a commitment to continuous learning & improvement
– Ability to test the solution and run jobs
