Network and Telecom Technical Lead

Optomi, in partnership with a leading healthcare provider, is looking for a Network and Telecom Technical Lead.

Position Summary: As a Network and Telecom Technical Lead, you will be pivotal in managing and supporting the full lifecycle of network infrastructure for over 600 locations and 7000 employees. Reporting to the Vendor Management Director, you will oversee network and telephone systems, collaborate with internal teams and third-party MSPs, and ensure seamless provisioning and support. This role is crucial to maintaining connectivity, optimizing costs, and enhancing network security.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or 10 years of relevant experience.
• 3-5 years in network engineering or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on experience with SASE platforms, especially CATO Networks.

What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:

• Manage CATO firewalls and ensure connectivity across all Ivy locations.
• Oversee deployment and configuration of network switches and wireless networks.
• Manage VoIP systems and telephone infrastructure.
• Select and manage ISP relationships and backup internet services.
• Develop and maintain network documentation and compliance with security policies.
