Senior Full Stack Developer

Senior Developer | £600 - £770 We’re working with a leading digital transformation partner delivering high-impact cloud solutions for the public sector on this exciting opportunity.

We are looking for a heavy-hitting Senior FullStack Developer to drive innovation in a cloud-native environment. You will be instrumental in architecting scalable services using Java and Spring Boot while leveraging AWS and Terraform to build mission-critical infrastructure that impacts millions.

The Role

• Lead the development of robust, secure backend services using Java and Spring Boot (Spring Security, Web Services).
• Design and optimize complex PostgreSQL database schemas for high-performance data management.
• Architect and deploy scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform as your primary Infrastructure-as-Code tool.
• Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines through Jenkins and GitHub Actions to ensure rapid, reliable delivery.
• Collaboration is key; you will work in an agile, remote-first team to solve complex technical challenges and handle architectural ambiguity.

What You’ll Need

• Deep hands-on expertise in Java/Spring Boot and Python scripting for automation and backend logic.
• Proven experience with AWS services and managing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) via Terraform.
• Strong proficiency in containerization using Docker and modern DevOps workflows with GitHub and Jenkins.
• Solid front-end integration skills using HTML and JavaScript to bridge the gap between UI and API.
• Active SC Clearance (or clear eligibility to obtain it) is essential for this high-security project environment.
